Venezine is a photographic project made on Lake Pyhäjärvi using a small boat as a fixed point of observation. The same setting is returned to under varying conditions of light, weather, and time.
By repeating the viewpoint, the images shift attention away from subject matter toward changes in illumination and atmosphere. Sequence and recurrence allow light to be experienced as duration rather than instant.
