I work with photography and book-based forms to construct images that operate through distance, repetition, and restraint. Rather than describing reality, my work approaches photography as a means of shaping experience—allowing time, absence, and editing to play a central role.
My practice is rooted in sustained observation. Returning to the same places, structures, and conditions, I treat photographs not as singular moments but as parts of larger sequences, where meaning emerges through duration and variation. The resulting works often exist as books or tightly edited bodies of images.
I am based in Finland.
