I photograph from a 1960s wooden runabout on Lake Pyhäjärvi near my home. The lake changes with weather and light - never the same twice.

Using long exposure from the moving boat, I capture time and motion as physical presence. The water blurs, the horizon shifts, movement becomes visible. What lasts seconds in real time stretches across the frame.
This work explores impermanence - the boat gliding across water, light changing, seasons passing. Through extended exposure, I make the fleeting momentarily permanent.
