Both Sides Now is a photographic work that brings together analog black-and-white images made between 2018 and 2025 with selected excerpts from personal journals written earlier, between 2010 and 2017.
The project operates across temporal distance: lived experience recorded in writing is revisited years later through photography, allowing memory, editing, and authorship to intervene. Text and image do not illustrate one another but exist as parallel constructions, shaped by different moments of looking.
The book form becomes a site where time is compressed and reordered, emphasizing the gap between experience and its later representation.
